From our Beehives: Local Honey Sales Supporting The North End Community Health Centre
Since 2022, we’ve partnered with Alvéole to install and care for two urban beehives on the rooftop of Scotia Square. These hives offer meaningful benefits to our local ecosystem while producing delicious, hyper-local honey right here in the city.
This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to sustainability, and, like our bees, to giving back to the community around us. Proceeds from the sale of honey harvested from our hives are donated directly to the North End Community Health Centre (NECHC).
The NECHC supports the health and well-being of our community through quality primary health care, education, and advocacy, helping individuals and families access the care and resources they need.
