What’s New at Scotia Square

Cogswell Interchange Transit Relocation Information

Beginning Monday, June 17th, the Halifax Transit terminal at Scotia Square, including the portion of Barrington Street to Duke Street, will be closing for work pertaining to HRM’s Cogswell Interchange Project.

Due to this, our Barrington Street entrance to Scotia Square must be closed, but don't worry! You can still access Scotia Square through Duke and Barrington, on Albemarle Street, and through the pedway network.

This work will also impact the transit stops that were located along Barrington Street. HRM has provided this map to help you find your new route!

This image highlights the new locations of bays 1 through 4, effective June 17th, 2024.
